The other durable cotton material is coarse calico which does not rumple as well; it is easy for washing and ironing. It is considered that this fabric approaches most for manufacturing of bed-clothes. The most expensive fabric from which bed-clothes are made is natural silk. It is very pleasant to the touch, gentle, capable to cool your body in hot days. Silk has wonderful aesthetic, practical and hygienic properties. The most ancient material which is aesthetically praised, possesses proven strength, is flax. But natural flax is subject to rumple, and it is very difficult to iron. Now for manufacturing of sleeping linen the usage of cotton and flax combination is more preferable due to its ratio of price/quality. Mesh of these fabrics is more pleasant to the touch and much easier when ironing.
